I mounted the sticky pad under the cheek padding. The Sena 20s, not made for a specific helmet, has a choice between an attached boom mic, or a wired one. The BMW Comm has an integrated boom microphone which secures it very nicely. Plenty of room there, and still easy to access. I mounted directly behind the sun visor sliding control. I used the adhesive surface mount option. Cost: The BMW logo on the box costs about $150 alone, apparently. It looks like it's still a prototype with the circuit board in a bag and a ton of wiring.Ħ. The BMW Comm needs to be packaged better. Removable for easier charging and updates. Handlebar wheel volume does not work.a nicety, but not critical.Ģ. You cannot pair both rider and pillion bluetooth to the BMW. I installed the Sena 20s on my and my wife's Schuberth C3 Pros.ġ. Any input from those who might have installed a 20s on a C3 Pro would be greatly appreciated. But, since it appears that I could get 2 of the Sena 20s for the price of just 1 BMW set, I haven't given up on the Sena 20s if it easily installs on the C3 Pro. Sierra BMW will install it for "free" ($1254 for Hi-Viz C3 Pro + BMW communication system! OUCH!!) if I order both from them. Has anyone put a Sena 20s on a C3 Pro? Can the pre-installed wiring in the C3 Pro be used with the Sena 20s? I'm tempted to bite the bullet and go with the BMW communication system in the C3 pro. He asked me if the Sena 20s attached with a clamp or adhered to the side and I had to say I didn't know. I've also been looking at the Sena 20s but the local retailer of the C3 Pro questioned whether the Sena 20s would attach to the C3 Pro because of the sun shade control on the lower left edge of the helmet. Unfortunately I've discovered that the crazy expensive Schuberth C3 Pro helmet fits me best so I'm likely going to suck it up and fork over $799 for it.
